To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will discuss with bus operators in Wales and other involved parties the impact of the increase in diesel fuel duties on local bus services in Wales.

§ Sir Wyn Roberts
No. The effect on operators' costs will be minimal—as little as 1 per cent. of their total operating costs. Services in Wales should not be greatly affected.
