§ Sir George YoungThe priority placed on stock repairs and levels of expenditure are matters for local authorities. However, estimates of the works required, related to different standards of repair and to the characteristics of local authority property, are provided by the quinquennial English house condition survey. A report of the most recent survey was published in August 1993 and copies have been placed in the Library.
