To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will provide figures for the amount his Department has been reimbursed by the Department of Social Security in respect of statutory sick pay provision since April 1992.

The amount of statutory sick pay reimbursement due to the Office of Public Service and Science is offset against employer's national insurance contributions payable to the Department of Social Security. The amount offset between 1 April 1992 and December 1993 was £56,300.
