§ Mr. SackvilleThe Department holds data for England and Wales on the incidence of skin cancer, on death rates, on numbers of deaths and on the average annual years of life lost per 10,000 of the resident population by region, district health authoriy and family health services authority. The Office of Population Censuses and Surveys keeps a register of newly diagnosed cases of skin cancer by regional health authority, district health authority and FHSA. It also records the number of deaths by sex and age from diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue by region, district health authority and FHSA. In addition, the Department keeps central statistics by district and regions on leprosy, which is a notifiable disease.
