§ Mr. MacleanA notice was placed in the Official Journal of the European Communities—OJEC—on 5 January inviting expressions of interest from companies to finance, design, build/refurbish, operate and maintain secure training centres either on Home Office land or on alternative sites which they themselves would propose. The deadline for receipt of applications is 11 February 1994. Before then, I cannot say which sites will be considered.

§ Mr. MacleanPotential providers of secure training centres will be identified through responses to the OJEC notice issued on 5 January 1994. Invitations to tender will be issued following an assessment of the responses received.
