To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the total budget for the Thames Valley police authority for 1994–95; and what proportion was allocated to Berkshire.

The latest estimate by the Thames Valley police authority of total current and capital expenditure in 1994–95 is £188.7 million. The proportion of expenditure applicable to Berkshire cannot be separately identified.
