§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThere has been no specific programme of support to local authorities for the elimination of the use of school annexes. However, the capital allocations for educational building have enabled 1057W authorities to undertake the extension or adaptation of main buildings to allow the withdrawal of annexes where they have considered that a priority.
