§ Mr. GoodladThese visits, to which my right hon. and learned Friend the Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office referred in his answer of 6 December, were not for the purpose of an assessment of that kind. The purpose of such visits is to improve co-operation and understanding between our armed forces.
