The Secretary of State for Transport has asked me to reply to your question about the number of occasions since the Driving Standards Agency was established when Agency employees have had trade union literature or circulars removed from their personal file, following complaints by that employee.There has been only one such occasion, in 1992. After that incident all personal files were checked to ensure that no other such mistakes happened. No other cases were found.
