§ Sir Paul BeresfordMinerals planning guidance note No. 6 published by the Department in April 1994, which sets out guidelines for aggregates provision in England, states that the Government will undertake an examination of the marine sand and gravel resources in the Bristol channel. It is expected that this research will be commenced next year.
