To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how much has been spent on telephone charges and how many telephone calls have been made by Department in each of the last five years.

Departmental telephone charges for years 1989–94 were:

These figures consist of call charges, equipment maintenance, line rental, provision of new extensions, moving existing ones and provision of freephone facilities.
