§ Mrs. BrowningNo specific disease condition caused by bovine immunodeficiency virus in cattle in the field has been identified in this or any other country. Investigations are continuing in a herd in Cheshire where cattle with serological evidence of exposure to BIV and a range of other common ailments have been identified. Investigations have also been carried out on one farm in Scotland.
