§ Mr. BowisIn England, policy on respite care provided as part of community care services, and that which is provided as part of services for children and their families under part III of the Children Act 1989, is the responsibility of my Department. It is the responsibility of local authorities and health authorities to plan, develop and arrange provision of respite care.
