§ Baroness TrumpingtonNo decision has yet been taken on which Commissioner-designate will take on the fisheries portfolio in the light of Norwegian non-accession. It is for the incoming President to allocate portfolios in consultation with the other Commissioners-designate. We expect M. Santer to make a decision shortly.
