§ Mr. Dewar
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will estimate the effect on Government revenues in a full year of the real increase in non-dependent deductions from housing benefit.

§ Mr. Roger Evans
The estimated savings from the real increase in non-dependant deductions in housing benefit from April 1995 are £35 million in a full year.
