§ Mr. NelsonAbout £400 will be spent by the Treasury this year on purchasing and decorating four Christmas trees, the tree at the entrance to No. 11 Downing street accounting for approximately £100 of this sum. The only other Christmas-related expenditure borne by the Treasury is a party for representatives of the press to be hosted by648W the Chancellor at No. 11. This is estimated to cost in the region of £1,150.
