§ Mr. HeseltineThe information requested is as follows:
(a) Coal Task Force
The task force has now been superseded by the Advisory Committee on Coal Research.(b) Engineering Technology Advisory Committee
I refer the hon. Gentleman to the reply given on 6 December, Official Report, column 126.(c) Industrial Development Advisory Board
IDAB is appointed under section 10 of the Industrial Development Act 1982 to advise me as Secretary of State on the granting of selective financial assistance under sections 7 and 8 of the Act.(d) Information Technology Advisory Board
Responsibility for ITAB was a matter for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, however I understand that the Board was wound up in July of this year.(e) Innovation Advisory Board
The Board was wound up in September 1993.
