§ Mr. Douglas HoggWEU meets at ministerial level every six months, more often if required in a crisis, with Foreign and Defence Ministers from the 24 nations which are either full members, associate members, associate partners or observers. In the past, there have been occasions when WEU Ministers have met back to back with the Foreign Affairs Council, but it would not be practical to make this a rule.
