§ Mr. FreemanMy right hon. and learned Friend was accompanied by Mrs. Rifkind, Mr. David Hart in his capacity as an independent adviser, Mr. Crispin Blunt—special adviser—the MOD press secretary, two members of his private office staff and an MOD official.
The costs of the visit were met from public funds with the exception of Mr. Hart, who paid his own costs.
