HC Deb 09 December 1994 vol 251 c403W
Mr. Bayley

To ask the Attorney-General how many official Christmas cards he and other Ministers in his Department intend to send in 1994; how much those cards will cost(a) to buy, (b) to post and (c) in staff time to sign, address and place in envelopes; and if he will place in the Library a sample copy of the official Christmas card he intends to send this year.

The Attorney-General

The Law Officers intend to send approximately 150 cards this year at a cost of(a) £123 and (b) an estimated £18 to post. Cards for recipients within the United Kingdom will be sent either second class post or included in normal departmental deliveries. Information on the cost of staff time is not available but would be minimal. A sample of the card has been placed in the Library.
