HL Deb 28 April 1994 vol 554 c50WA
Baroness Masham of Ilton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What advice they can give to farmers trying to control the spread of ragwort on their land.

Earl Howe

A short leaflet on the control of common ragwort and other injurious weeds specified in the Weeds Act 1959 is available free from Agriculture Departments in England and Wales. The leaflet recommends methods of control and includes details of other sources of technical advice and assistance, In Scotland, advice is available from the Scottish Agricultural College, through its network of advisory offices.
