§ Mr. GummerMy Department published 317 titles which included research and annual reports, technical and statistical reports and consultation papers in 1993–94. Eighty-three of these were produced regularly either annually or as part of a series.
Of the regular titles, 63 were published by HMSO which reports total sales of 103,100 copies. Twenty of its publications were available on subscription and the rest on its standing order service which allows customers to register an interest in a particular subject and receive titles on those subjects as published.
The balance of 20 were regular departmental publications. A total of 5,310 copies were sold to 401 subscribers, interested organisations and individuals.
