§ Mr. BowisThe social services inspectorate undertook a study of the prevalence and use made of these homes by local authorities in the north-west of England. "Small Unregistered Children's Homes", the report of a study by the social services inspectorate, was published in March and copies are available in the Library. Further studies will be made in due course.
