§ Mr. BrookeIn 1993–94, English Heritage spent £4.3 million on its historic properties and other activities in North Yorkshire. The other activities relate to conservation grants, marketing, and research and professional services. Assuming a similar level of expenditure on grants, which are dependent on demand, a further £4.3 million is expected to be spent in 1994–95.
