§ Dr. MawhinneyCommunity pharmacists are paid a professional fee of £1.35 per prescription for the first 1,700 prescriptions they dispense each month and a fee of 94.5p per prescription for the remainder. They can also receive additional fees, for example if an item is dispensed urgently or extemporaneously.
