§ Mr. David DavisCivil servants, like other employees, can be dismissed only if personal culpability is established 173W in the course of properly constituted disciplinary or criminal proceedings. A number of such proceedings have resulted in dismissal during the last 12 months, although details are not held centrally and I am not aware of any such civil servants who have been named in adverse published reports.
