HC Deb 25 April 1994 vol 242 cc35-6W
Mr. Bayley

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how much was spent in north Yorkshire by the National Rivers Authority in 1993–94; and what is its budget for North Yorkshire in 1994–95.

Mr. Atkins

I am informed by the National Rivers Authority that in its Northumbrian and Yorkshire region, which covers North Yorkshire, it spent an estimated £53.9 million in 1993–94 and that it expects to spend around £52 million in 1994–95. Figures below regional level are not available.
