§ Mr. Atkins[holding answer 22 April 1994]: The European Commission issued an amended proposal for a 39W regulation on the possession of and trade in wild fauna and flora earlier this year. We are currently considering the details of the new text. Two explanatory memoranda on the proposals were recently deposited in the Library of the House.
