HC Deb 22 April 1994 vol 241 cc687-8W
Dr. Wright

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will now publish the report of the 1987 public inquiry into the proposed Birmingham northern relief road under the terms of the Government's new code on open Government.

Mr. Key

No. As my predecessor explained in his written reply to the hon. Member on 2 June 1992, at columns505-6 the draft orders which were the subject of the inquiry held in 1988 have been withdrawn and the report would not be relevant to the scheme now proposed.
