To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects the amount of money to be withheld from United Kingdom Detention Services Ltd. under the tems of the management contract to manage Blakenhurst prison, in the light of the incident on 24 February, to have been settled; and if he will make a statement.

Responsibility for this matter has been delegated to the Director General of the Prison Service, who has been asked to arrange for a reply to be given.
