Mr. John M. TaylorDuring the 1993–94 financial year, the total amount paid to full-time district judges was £18,427,591. The figure for part-time district judges is not yet available for the whole financial year, but for the 11-month period from April 1993 to February 1994, the fees amounted to £4,870,627.
