§ Mr. David HuntA wide range of initiatives across Government has been taken in recent years to tackle domestic violence. These are directed towards ensuring that perpetrators are brought to justice; that victims receive the necessary material and emotional support and that steps are taken towards prevention in the long term. The ministerial group on domestic violence, which is led by my hon. Friend the Minister of State, Home Office, will be meeting to consider how proposals for further action can be taken forward.
