§ Mr. BrookeMy Department is actively assisting the Football Association—FA—in the arrangements for the 1996 European championship through its representation on the FA's central organising committee for the event. I have been involved in promoting the event and I was delighted to attend the qualifying draw for the championship in Manchester on 22 January when I had the opportunity to discuss matters with the chairman of the FA.
