HC Deb 15 April 1994 vol 241 c342W
Mr. Rooker

To ask the Secretary of State for Education what procedures exist for secondary schools catering for 11 to 16-year-olds to be systematically informed of the performance of former pupils in entering further and higher education; and if he will make a statement on his assessment of the desirability for parents of this information being made available when they are considering the choice of a secondary school.

Mr. Robin Squire

[holding answer 12 April 1994]: There are no procedures for secondary schools to be informed of the performance of former pupils in further and higher education. However, all colleges in the further education sector are required to provide local secondary schools with a breakdown of their results.
