§ Mr. StewartGovernment guidelines require that two thirds of a local enterprise company's directors, including the chairman, are drawn from senior members of the private sector and that all directors should either live or work in the local area. Subject to these requirements, and any others laid down in the company's articles of association, the selection of board members is at the discretion of the company's members.
