HL Deb 13 April 1994 vol 553 cc94-5WA
Earl Russell

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Child Support Agency has any facilities for communicating in braille.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Viscount Astor)

The administration of the Child Support Agency is a matter for Ros Hepplewhite, the Chief Executive. She will write to the noble Earl.

Letter to Earl Russell from the Chief Executive of the Child Support Agency, Ros Hepplewhite, dated 13 April 1994.

I am replying to your recent Parliamentary Question about the Child Support: Agency's facilities for communicating in braille.

The Agency has produced a braille version of leaflet CSA 2020 "for parents who live apart" using facilities provided by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).

The RNIB also offers a braille letter writing service which is available to the Agency.

I hope this reply is helpful.
