To ask the Secretary of State for Health in what circumstances general practitioners can charge a fee for issuing a medical certificate to a patient.

Dr. Mawhinney

Under paragraph 37 of their terms of service, general practitioners are required to issue a defined list of medical certificates free of charge. They may charge a fee for issuing certificates not included on this list.
