§ Mr. HanleyWe are monitoring the situation closely with our coalition allies, taking account of new information as it becomes available. We believe that the evidence shows that the systematic destruction of the settlements and habitat of the marsh Arabs is continuing, in contravention of United Nations Security Council resolution 688.
