§ Mr. RedwoodUp to 30 September 1993, field inspections had been undertaken to validate 5,590 claims for HLCA from both sheep and cattle producers. The number of actual farm visits will have been substantially less than this because inspections of sheep and cattle claims are often carried out during the same visit.
