§ Sir Wyn RobertsOn 23 February, in conjunction with the Department of Transport, we wrote to interested parties, including Welsh local authority associations and county surveyors, inviting comments on draft traffic calming regulations. The few comments received were of a technical nature and the proposals were generally welcomed. The Highways (Traffic Calming) Regulations 1993 came into force on 27 August.
