Whether they are now in a position to publish the Green Paper on taxi and private hire services in England and Wales.
The Minister of State, Department of Transport (The Earl of Caithness)The Green Paper was published today. It is a consultation document addressing fundamental issues relating to taxi and private hire services throughout England and Wales, including London, and we hope it will generate a stimulating debate on the way forward. We have asked for responses by 1st March 1994. We have arranged for copies to be placed in the Libraries of the Houses.
