What plans they have to abolish the client contribution payable under the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme.

We have received many representations on the client contribution payable under the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES). To meet concerns that this contribution may deter some people from applying for a grant to have their homes insulated, my honourable friend the Minister for the Environment and Countryside will shortly be laying before Parliament proposals to amend the regulations governing HEES which would remove the requirement for a client contribution.
