§ Mr. Gareth WardellTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will place in the Library for each family health service authority area in Wales, the telephone number and contact name for use by any person not registered with a general dental practitioner who requires emergency dental treatment at night or during the weekends.
§ Mr. Gwilym JonesNon-registered patients requiring emergency treatment at night or at weekends should contact their nearest local dentist who may be willing to treat them. Alternatively, patients should contact their GP who will be able to provide pain relief and, where clinically necessary, refer the patient onwards to a local casualty department or appropriate hospital unit. Patients may also refer themselves to casualty departments.
