HC Deb 25 October 1993 vol 230 c499W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will provide details of the costs of family planning services in England in each year since 1990–91.

Mr. Sackville

Estimated total expenditure on national health service family planning services in England was £109.2 million in 1990–91 and £136.2 million in 1991–92, the latest year for which figures are available. The two figures are not directly comparable because of new reporting arrangements following the national health service reforms.
