Mr. Mandelson

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the total sum of money owed to the Treasury as a result of personal and corporate bankruptcies and liquidations for each of the fiscal years 1988–89, 1989–90, 1990–91 and 1991–92.

The total sum of money owed to the Treasury as a result of personal and corporation bankruptcies and liquidations covering the fiscal years 1988–89, 1989–90, 1990–91 and 1991–92 is as follows:
