To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the expected start and completion of the Jubilee line extension.

Good progress is being made in dealing with the legal and financial issues which must be satisfactorily resolved before the Secretary of State can authorise the start of construction. The extension is expected to enter passenger service 53 months after the start of construction.
