To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will list the equipment which is designated as police or security equipment included in the United Nations embargo list.

Mr. Needham

The United Nations does not itemise police or security equipment in any United Nations Security Council resolution. Exports of military and paramilitary police equipment are controlled to all destinations by part III, group I of the Export of Goods Control Order 1992.
