HC Deb 21 October 1993 vol 230 c282W
Mr. Alan W. Williams

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many representations he had received in the consultation excercise on THORP before 4 October; how many of these were in favour of THORP going ahead; and how many against.

Mr. Yeo

Over 40,000 responses were received during the consultation exercise, of which more than half arrived in the last two days of the consultation. The responses are still being counted and assessed. More detailed figures will be made available once all the responses have been considered.
