To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how much was spent on official hospitality in his Department in the financial year 1992–93.

In 1992–93, the amounts spent on official entertainment by the Employment Department, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, the Health and Safety Executive/Commission, the Employment Service and the Office of Manpower Economics were £39,000, £8,000, £20,000, £21,000 and £10,000, respectively.
