Member for Bow and Poplar (Ms Gordon) of 26 July,Official Report, column 580, when he intends to make an announcement on the construction of the docklands light railway extension to Greenwich and Lewisham.
§ Mr. BaldryAn announcement will be made soon, once the structure of the project has been fully assessed to take into account the interests of both the public and the private sectors. Studies are under way to scrutinise the capital costs of building the railway's extension to Lewisham and to assess the best means of providing for private financing of its construction.
